Tarlen Referral program (“The program”) helps Tarlen Guests earn referral credits (“Tarlen Credits”) to book a vehicle by referring people to become Guest users on Tarlen Carshare.
Participating members agree to these terms and to Tarlen’s Terms of Service.
To earn Tarlen credit, you must meet the following criteria;
(i) you must be a member of the platform.
(ii) you must refer a friend who would in turn create a valid Tarlen account.
(iii) the referred friend must use their invite code when booking their first trip.
(iv) the referred friend must complete a valid trip on Tarlen.
(v) referrers are eligible to receive a sum of Tarlen credit in their wallet for each new user they refer who completes their rental trip on Tarlen.
(i) a referring member can only earn credits for the first trip booked by their referred friend.
(ii) the credits earned can only be applied towards the daily rental price. This credit cannot be applied towards the protection cover, extras, delivery charges or security deposit.
(iii) there may be a limit to the number of referrals a single member can make and the total rewards they can earn. Tarlen reserves the right to adjust these limits at any time.
(iv) the referring member cannot earn credits if the referred user rents a vehicle hosted by the referring member.
(v) the referring member cannot earn credit if the booking is canceled at any time.
(vi) referral codes and travel credits expire after 6months.
A valid trip is one that is booked on the Tarlen mobile application or website. The reserved trip must be completed before the referring member can receive their Tarlen credits. The trip will not be considered a valid trip if the referring member’s vehicle was booked by the referred or if the booking was canceled.
Tarlen credit may only be redeemed via the Tarlen platform. This credit is shown as Tarlen credit in the more section of the referrer’s account. Tarlen’s credit must be used within 6 months of the date it was issued after which, it’ll expire.
Tarlen credit can only be applied towards the daily rental price. They cannot be used to pay for extras, deposits, delivery or insurance.
Tarlen credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
Tarlen credits cannot be earned by creating multiple accounts.
Tarlen credits from multiple accounts cannot be combined to one Tarlen account.
A referred member may only use one referral code.
If the referred member receives multiple codes from different members, only the member associated with the code used receives the Tarlen credit.
Tarlen may modify any of the terms and conditions of the Referral Program, including termination, without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated to participants through the Tarlen platform.

We “the Company” reserves the right to remove a members credit if we deem it to be obtained through abusive or fraudulent practice or if the member is in violation of Tarlen’s Terms of Service.
Any disputes related to the Tarlen Referral Program will be resolved at the discretion of Tarlen, in compliance with local laws and in the best interest of maintaining a fair and equitable program for all participants.
