Hosting tips: 12 popular extras to elevate your listing on Tarlen

Travellers love convenience and are always looking for ways to add more comfort and colour to their trips. That’s why airports offer extras like priority check-in, luggage services, lounges, and Wi-Fi. The list goes on.

So if you’re serious about growing your carsharing business, you should also look for ways to elevate your guest’s experience with add-ons that can be added to their trips.

Offering extras doesn’t just benefit your guests, it can also bring in additional revenue.

On top of that, it can be a great differentiator that makes guests choose you from other hosts offering the same vehicle at a similar price point. And a guest who enjoys a great first trip experience is more likely to book with you again and recommend you to others.

Bundled extras

If you’re really invested in your guest’s experience, consider offering some extras free of charge or bundled together. Bundles are especially useful for specific activities. For example, for a camping trip, you could bundle a tent, camp fridge, cooking essentials, tables, and chairs, giving guests a ready-made adventure kit.

👉 By offering thoughtful extras, you not only increase your earning potential but also create memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.
